A Race Is Set Before YOU

The first part of God*s plan for you is to save you. And if you are saved He has a plan for every step of the rest of your life. When we sin and get off track we waste time and energy. Sometimes we even go backwards. When God sends us on detours, they are not really detours they are part of the race. It is important to know it is God who sets the race before us.

Hebrews 12:1: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Romans 8:14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

John 10:27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Ephesians 2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Deuteronomy 5:32: Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

Psalms 32:8: I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Psalms 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalms 37:23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Isaiah 30:21: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Matthew 7:13: Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
